Welcome to our online store. While we operate out of Dunedin, Otago, our focus has always been on bringing the authentic flavours of Mexico to customers across New Zealand.

Our journey south of the border began in 1994, driven by a simple belief: more New Zealanders should be experiencing genuine Mexican beverages. From day one, our goal has been to source and share the very best tequila, mezcal, and beer, directly from Mexico.

What started with handwritten addresses found on the back of a bottle soon grew into something much bigger. From a few cartons tucked onto shared pallets, to pallets in shared containers, we now receive regular container shipments, offering one of New Zealand’s most extensive ranges of authentic Mexican beverages.

Produced in small batches and aged for a minimum of two and a half years, Don Julio 1942 Tequila is handcrafted in tribute to the year that Don Julio González began his tequila-making journey.

The aroma is sweet and ripe with layers of agave and notes of ripe apples and oak. The taste is smooth, rich and clean with an oak and vanilla finish.

Serve neat in a shot glass or on the rocks for a classic yet simple drink - the perfect gift for a tequila connoisseur, all year round.
